We all want to know how we can practically help and send physical support to our Chayalim and those suffering in Israel. There are of course multiple different agencies, organizations, funds, and individuals, who are all making significant efforts to get security supplies, food and clothing to those in need.
1) Ben Porat Yosef, is collecting funds for Lev Echad to purchase and send vests and helmets to chayyalim who are members of our Shlichim’s families in Israel. We have “adopted” the city of Ofakim – one of the areas hit very hard by the terrorist attacks, and the home neighborhood of some of our Shlichim. We have collected funds for toys and games to be distributed there to children who have been in shelters. We will also be sponsoring a carnival in Ofakim as well for the children there.
