Day of Learning

This year, over 450 BPY students will study Gemara, Chumash, Mishnah, Navi and Halacha. You can acquire a share of all their learning by becoming a Parnas HaYom. Sponsoring a day, week or month of learning at BPY is a meaningful way to acknowledge a special milestone or to honor or memorialize a loved one.

Each week’s dedications are displayed in the entry hall of the Yeshiva  and appear in the school’s weekly newsletter. Dedications are announced at morning tefila so that the children will know for whom their learning is dedicated. A daily email is sent out with all the dedications announced that day.

A day of learning may be dedicated on the occasion of a yahrzeit, in zchut of a refuah sheleimah, in honor of a simcha, a birthday, an anniversary, or any occasion that you wish to recognize.

Much learning takes place within the hallowed walls of our yeshiva. Your support entitles you to a share of all that learning. We can think of no greater reward!

There are four ways to participate in the Day of Learning Program.

  • Daily Dedication: Minimum Contribution of $180 Learning will be dedicated on the day of your choice.  The dedication will be displayed in the entry hall of the Yeshiva on the day.  A school email will be sent out with your dedication and an announcement will be made during Morning Tefila.
